5x2x2 Hinged

By popular request we are now offering a 5x2x2 again. This unit is being made in a 1 piece design to match our 4 foot enclosures rather than the 2 piece design we have worked with in the past for this style. This unit has our front ventilation design in between the front doors. This combined with the side and rear ventilation provide enough airflow for your reptile!

The size of this unit for shipping purposes is 58" x 23" x 23" 

If you are looking for a bit more space than our 4 foot model but don't quite have enough room for a 6 foot enclosure, this may be the option for you. With keepers stepping up to increase "minimum" sizes for their reptiles to allow them to thrive, it was only suiting to start building larger enclosures to accommodate. This unit as shown in the photos has a 6 inch substrate guard for bioactive keepers allowing more than ample space for deep substrates for your root systems while still keeping a fantastic viewing area for the animal. This unit can be purchased with a solid top for internal lighting, 12x12 stainless inserts on one or both sides for external lighting or a full mesh top if you want to utilize the entire inside space for your animal. For higher humidity species we recommend the use of a light hood (being designed currently) to retain humidity levels on mesh top options while allowing the unit to remain stackable. 

*Shown is the 5x2x2 slider with a 6 inch substrate guard. This can either be chosen as hinge down or Cabinet hinged to side. If you are wanting hinged down we recommend a stand or table underneath the enclosure to allow the door to open all the way

Front hinged doors can be chosen in either Acrylic (low humidity application) or polycarbonate (higher humidity application) Please note that polycarbonate does scratch easier than Acrylic but does not warp with humidity. The front hinged door has a recessed channel all the way around it to allow for tight clean fitment.
