Our 4x2x2 is our most commonly purchased unit! A great solution for a variety of species and keeping styles. New options now available for the top panel of your enclosure. This includes the standard solid top for internal heat and lighting, 12x12 stainless mesh insert on one side or both sides for external heating and a full mesh top for external heating! Utilize your entire enclosure by having the heating from on top and eliminate the fear of burning your animals!
For higher humidity species we recommend the use of our light hood if using full mesh tops to retain humidity. To remain stackable a light hood is needed for any exterior lighting options with mesh. If you have any questions be sure to reach out to us!
Actual size of this enclosure is 46" x 23" x 23” to keep the box required for shipping below the oversize class with Couriers.
Rear ventilation, side ventilation and cord slots for wiring are included in all of our builds. Side ventilation is mounted center height to allow for additional airflow in enclosures
Hinged acrylic as well as sliding front options are both available. Couriers are not covering glass breakage, so please keep in mind that Glass can be shipped but will be sent at your own risk. We also can do sliding Acrylic if you prefer, or can send without glass for the panels to be bought locally to eliminate this issue.
Our Enclosures are made from 12mm pvc with a hardened shell to provide strength for long term. Acrylic hinged Front are a single layer front that also include a center support if stacking to ensure no sagging for the long term of the enclosure. If you are not stacking enclosures on top, this piece does not have to be used.
for Glass front enclosures, the only tool required for assembly is a #2 Robertson screwdriver or bit on a drill. We do not recommend using electric impacts to assemble as they can strip the soft core of the pvc
For Acrylic front enclosures, the same bit or screwdriver is required, but will also require a 7mm socket and 19mm (or 3/4") socket for installing the hardware for the hinges and latches. a set of plyers may also be used in place of the 19mm socket
If you are choosing to purchase your own glass, the size required is 16.5” x 21.5" in 6mm thickness
